I work from photographs. The paint is put on very thick and then I wait 3 weeks or a month before it is dry enough to work back into. The process can take up to 7 months, as I like the paint to be very dry before I touch it. So I can work about 20 or 30 pieces at a time. But I could loose 5 pieces as I go. It’s slow and frustrating and when things go right it’s magic. But it all goes back to the photographs.2/8/07. |
