Eoin Flannery

Born and raised in Dingle, Eoin began sketching and painting from a very young age. He went on to study Animation at IADT Dun Laoghaire in Dublin, graduating with a BA (Hons).

Soon after graduating, he was offered a position with Boulder Media, an Irish animation studio, where he worked on a number of animated series.

After several years in animation, Eoin decided to travel and work as an illustrator. Always driven to develop his skills as an artist, he studied under some of today’s most respected illustrators, including Craig Mullins, Peter Han, and James Gurney.

Eoin has long admired the Old Masters and is deeply interested in their draftsmanship, symbolism, and storytelling.

“My work is an attempt to express the emotions I feel and to tell the story of who I am. Through my paintings I hope to share something of my vision, and something of where I come from.”
