Greenlane Gallery Hosts Launch Party and Gourmet Dinner for Dingle Film Festival 2008

The Greenlane Gallery is delighted to announce its support of the 2008 Dingle Film Festival by hosting two Festival events on the 11 & 12 September.

LAUNCH PARTY

The festival will officially launch at the Gallery at 6 pm on Thursday 11th September with a stellar list of guests including Gabriel Byrne (Jindabyne, Wah-Wah), Cecilia Peck(Shut Up & Sing) Oscar Winner,Garrett Brown (The Shinning, Rocky, Return of the Jedi), 2 time Oscar winner, Barbara Kopple(Harlan County USA, Wild Man Blues), Ned Dowd(Apocalypto, Last of the Mohicans, State of Grace), Kevin Moriarty,MD Ardmore Studios,Anthony Wall (No Direction Home, The Other side of the Mirror), Aidan Gillen(The Wire, Queer as Folk), Anthony Peck (Die Hard: With a Vengeance), S Merry Doyle (Patrick Kavanagh: No Man’s Fool) and Philip King (Bal Tuinne, Other Voices). This will be followed by the premiere of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas at the Phoenix Cinema. Tickets for this event, which cost €20, are available through the Dingle Film Festival office.

GOURMET DINNER

On Friday 12 September, Dingle Film Festival will host a gourmet dinner at the home of Susan Callery which will be attended by all of the Festival guests (see above). Tickets cost €200 and are available through the Dingle Film Festival office or from the Greenlane Gallery
