Maév Kelly
Maev Kelly’s artworks echo her love of the process of painting and drawing, both separate
and combined and also seek to echo the beauty in the everyday. With her small oil paintings
she goes within and lets her heart lead. With the bigger works she also works on instinct and
tries to switch off the thinking brain.
A frequent visitor to west Cork and Kerry’s coast especially Dingle and surrounding areas,
her landscapes echo the beauty and spirit she encounters here and she seeks to embed this
energy into her work. She she is lead by colour and line and puts a multi sense approach to
create the flow in her work.
